Burden of Light (BoL) is a Boss fight and puzzle game. During 1 hour and a half, the player, a monk, climbing a five-story mountain.
Each floor contains between 2 and 3 bosses, an enigma that will also serve as a tutorial for a new skill, as well as sets to explore, with a collection-it in each of them.
But BoL is above all a game about mourning and introspection, each world corresponds to a stage of mourning, and the monk's recurrent opponent is none other than his alter ego, our monk will have to face him many times before mourning him, to finally become a true Tibetan monk.

The simple system of combat (point to point movement, my right-clicking, and left click to attack) was really nice to create bosses' patterns.
That's with this project I learned to make really pure, simple, and minimalist gameplay and still get a real challenge and a good ascending difficulty curve.
